Its KNAAPO. That plant finished chinese contracts and was short of orders. Now it have time to wait for next big chinese contract.

Its over with Chineese you stupid, thats what everyone here was warning government about now they have their licence production ,tooling, etc.
Some more equipment will be sold and thats that…Cooperation will continue with sophisticated equipment ,with new radars, warnings and self-defence systems ,engines and thats that.No new planes!

As much as i know its Irkut for Algeria. Moreover, there are talks about MIG joining Irkut corporation, meaning what both Mig-29 and Su-30 orders for Algeria will be executed by same corporation.

    Irkut and MiG are competitors!!!….
    What talk??????????????

Komsomolsk Su-30MK2 flew down there, so I would not be so sure of Irkutsk…it’ll be Komsomolsk.

Too much involved with MKI (French, Israeli, Indian subsystems) for Russia to do a unilateral sales deal with Chavez on this…hence, Komsomolsk and the much less sophisticated (and politically/economically easier) Su-30MK2…

LOOKing at the price 1 billion i would say KOMSu as divided by the 30 Su-30 is 30mil for 1 Su-30.thats about that price range, their craft.not the best type but still very potent .[and available for more upgrades latter :)].Government was cautios little bit since this is first Sukhois in western hemisphere…I think this is just a start of our great cooperation…

Oh yes – I’d forgotten about that. 1980s. They showed it to the USAF, causing some consternation to them, before the F-117 was revealed. Same techniques (faceted) as the F-117. Might have turned into a real plane if the wall hadn’t come down.

    Pictures –

There have been European stealth programmes for 25 years. And don’t forget warships – look at Sweden. The technology is well understood in several European countries, & research continues.

yeah,It was supose to be a better “stealth fighter” the f-117.At least in computer simulations they were following american very closely.

as per latest reports the test did not meet parameters due to inflight snags and can be classed a failure/partial success max. So there will certainly be more A3 tests going fwd.

2nd stage failed to separate at height of 12km and missile fell into sea.

that seems slightly not high enough for 1st stage detachment.
whats its speed at 12km separation height or its classified?

Opinions!.You have others claiming opposite,so what?…Now where have i put those pictures of b-2 spoted and trecked at long range…prophet says its a big, 4 engine thing, with tonns of mass and a lot of energy to burn to stay in the air…..It may have a “cold” exaust but the air IS COLDER!!And it always will be.http://img436.imageshack.us/img436/2582/hmhm6jn.th.jpghttp://img313.imageshack.us/img313/589/hm8sg.th.jpg
Hey,its not our fault we couldnt smuggle big s-300 , to serbs so thay can shoot it down, because it was flying too high for their SAMs…In iraN lots of terrain is high-altitude….5km high large mountain ranges,15.000+ feet.so SAMs will naturally [in thinner air] have better ranges:)..And loaded b-2 will be flying closer to radars.

Seduce a B2 pilot – oh thats a classic ๐Ÿ™‚ .Operation Seduction begins!

It just might work, hmmm lets offer him lots of money ,and 100 virgins ๐Ÿ™‚ .Nice joke.
Seriously now,the scenario is this, russia and china would like to get their hands on pieces of b-2spirit.We will use Satelite radar tracking, give exact flight path and time schedule to Iranians, they saturate the area with missiles at precise time.Or quickly send fighter to destroy it since if flies alone!! :dev2: It shouldnt be difficult as they will relax and start to use same paths. We gave it to Serbia and they shoot down f-117a with more stealth then oversized b-2,or semi-stealth compromise supermanuverable supercruising solution named F-22. ๐Ÿ˜Ž
Sometimes i wonder when i hear epic stories about glorious american armies conquest/ what have this guys been smoking?
They couldnt win in vietnam with 3,5 time less population and less training then Iran, couldnt invade a 10mil. population of serbia, made a “victory” in a much smaller in population and in size afganistan thank to support from nort aliance [wich is pro-iranian ๐Ÿ™‚ ],[still lot of spots in there where its not safe],cant win an insurgency of 7 milion rebbel suni in iraq….And they want to invade a country thats bigger then iraq and afganistan combined and has a 70+ million population, and is better prepared. With what soldiers?Rebbelions in afganistan and iraq would double in size.usa will have very few soldiers to controll situation and terrain,it would be stretched to thin and destroyed….
That would just be a mass murder of american soldiers….Best u.s.a. can do is establish some no-fly zones at best, and put sanctions on iran but the trade over the caspian to Russia will continue at worst. So there is NOTHING u.s.a. can do,dont you get it,if they could they would have done it so far.
Now nucear instalations are spead all over country like their most advanced planes its in irans doctrine!Strikes would delay a-bomb but not for very long. And after strikes iran would retaliate dont you doubt it.CIA is frantic in searching for agents in usa but still cant find them.
Now some word about long-wave radars, old tech,radio-amateur can make antennas with less 2.000 euros.Simple, cheap, modular structures and electronics cabin can be connected to antenna with long cables for protection. After sead aircraft destoroy them simply build hudreds more out of [for exa. P-16 16 -modules actually not very big in 2 rows by 8 antennas(4,5methers wide) on a simple truck]and reconnect them.I think cruise missiles are way more expencive.Put thousands of false radar beacons around, and truck ,tank ,tor,..decoys, ,,shut down your real AD network for a while and after they think they whiped you out turn it all at once….And they will fall like flies.99% of aircraft in that operation will not be stealthy and will suffer. If they stop shooting at decoys then could put a real thing amongst them.

hm well by russian clasification there is frontline fighter heavy and light,…..and interceptors, also you hade once a perspective class [or wish] for heavy or strategic interceptors with enormous ranges for that time likes of tu-128…mig-25,31 are for homeland defence so they could be considered “light” interceptors.but the experiment failed and theres only 1 line of interceptors.also it could be considered that enormous range and the speed of MiG-MFI was intended with that role in mind.

Radiation leaves everlasting effect on genetic material.Nikita insisted the test to take place.Tu-95 used right outboard turbine powering props directly or reactor-turbine cycle.it was leaking oufcourse and people on runaway was effected and to save weight shields didnt protect crews 100%.the rpm regulation turned out to be main problem and with all the radiation and weight it wasnt practical. The system worked for couple minutes each time, and then the engine would be shut down.
However for the high altitude, endurance, unmanned aircraft this source would be perfect.

Google … all hail! Thanks HH.

I remember how a 2 USAF F-16 (moose was one of them) pilots posted pics they had taken and gave out a lot of information (about the capabilities of the F-16, Su-30 MKI, their pilots, opinions etc ) after participating in the Cope India 2006 air exercises on the f-16.net forum and a few hours later all his posts and exclusive pics were removed without warning or notice and the webmaster gave a reason that sounded something like high level intervention from powerful agencies was the reason for his posts, and pics had to be deleted.

I would not be surprised if something like that is the case here as well … and that’s perhaps why the webmaster is reluctant to give out any reasons for the closure of the forums.

The threads on China and Russia had truckloads of leaked pictures posted … which give vast insights about their forces and their equipment. Ditto for the threads on some other countries as well.

My guess is that the forums were closed by external intervention as it endangered the security of a nation/nations.

I almost fell of my chair when i heard this??!! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ
Cope video-clips and reporting, comments, interviews were in indian tv. military specials……
Hmmm if aviation is closed that means that apolo didnt land on moon? or something else.Explanation is required now that everythings erased!!!People invested hours here days even. Now i am really glad i havent put 10% effort in this forum only to see it GONE in a second without any warning or explanation! ๐Ÿ˜ก U should see russian forums and former engeneears talking there with lorries of data & pics and insight u can only DREAM about :dev2: …There wasnt almost any flamewar at missile&ammo threads ๐Ÿ™‚ .Now what countries have we endangered????? ๐Ÿ˜Ž yeah that may work with small kids  .Man i didnt know i can destroy countries over the internet.I AM A GOD!

The Webmaster made the decision, we Mods had nothing to do with it. I’m as suprised as you guys are..

In that case u are worthless [as a connection between member-admins]… RESIGN!!![as a mod].

You can’t have the password because there isn’t one (and I don’t think we could hand it out if there was!), it’s asking for your password. Only it won’t work, because you don’t have admin rights on your account. But if there’s something in particular you remember that you want to have, let me know and I will find it.

Like this link? How do we get other topic back when it requires pass u dont have? ๐Ÿ˜ฎ
    SHAME!
I liked indian missiles discussion ๐Ÿ˜Ž and russian hyper ..missile ๐Ÿ™‚ topics…now its goneeee

Well like i said before here, the thought that comes to my mind is that they landed a robot there. And human part was filmed in hollywood.Ground samples are same to the ones ะปัƒะฝะพั…ะพะด brought to russia and are said to be real so they did bring something back from the moon.Oufcourse i could be wrong.:)
There were plans i remember to send a private funded small rover-robot like a turist attractio to go over the moon landscape and visit all this important sights and also machines left on the moon.

Flogger please realise there were tens and tens of very good perspective projects being scrapped for other more practical aircraft, because it would take much time and resources, and we were lagging in this department of airforce.
