Totally agree. And it’s also the reason why Russian again makes tactical nuclear delivery systems a priority.
There is no Russian military threat to the Baltics, or Western Europe short of total war. The European question – which is Anglos out of Continental Europe, and Continental European – Russian rapprochement – will not be decided on the battle field. It’s the Anglo-Empire’s internal weakness, the disillusionment of the White middle class who carries the show, and its talent to **** off other peoples around the globe without offering enough benefits in return that will cause its downfall, not military action. In any case, let’s see who’ll be the next Ceasar in DC …
Talking military, the Baltics are a dead end. Compare 1945, Wehrmacht Army Group Courland. The Russians would be idiots to go there. If a military solution in Europe, then through Southern Poland and aiming for the Rhine as fast as possible (or the Atlantic coast if things go “well”), no reserves and all out with everything there is. All the poorhouses east of Germany are not worth a war; they will gravitate towards Russia naturally in case the Empire shows terminal weakness.
Impressive! A real close sequence from a boat. Wonder whether they can do so close launches when the boat gets lighter also.
Don’t want to open a new thread, thus reviving this here …
Any qualified guestimates out there what the real tactical radius of an A400M might be, when assault lifting the average protected 8×8 (25-26 metric tons) in a real world mission profile, w/o air-air-refueling, say 20 minutes on the ground at the objective airstrip for unloading and ground maneuvers, and reasonable reserves? Under the assumption that it might have to return to home base if the objective airstrip is blocked.
Argentina government colluding with Iran for desperately needed joint trade deals.
I wouldn’t rule out Argentina colluding with the Chinese in its desperation, too. I’m sure the US State Department is monitoring these developments.
Ha! Acting without asking Ceasar first. Sneaky *******s!
Back to base when comlink is lost.
As long as Argentina remains part of Pax Americana and the Dollar system it doesn’t need any of these toys. In case they find the will to exit, Russian and Chinese equipment is the only option. Against the American way of war, tactical aviaton is a waste of resources for a minor power. So a few Yak-130 would do nicely; and that Y-8/9 GX6 MPA/ASW aircraft looks interesting for EEZ ISR.
PC-6 with AU-23A style pylons, or AT-802U with ZVI PL-20 gun pods and/or 2.75in rocket pods.
One should think that after 15 years of dirty little wars there’d be an off-the-shelf solution! Negative.
Media footage always showing just the TEL. Are there any indications where the radar and command post are/were?
Weapons release at Mach 6 would be – interesting. Doubt such a thing would use kinetic effectors.
About the config: At Mach 6 no wings of any size are required. The thing here has wings. So I guess M6 is a dash capability? With a quite lower cruise. The kink in the wing, paired with only one vertical fin to avoid nasty vibration problems. The engine pods seem huge, maybe variable cycle? Twin-engined config is interesting, taking into account potential asymetric thrust issues at high speed. Could the idea be a scramjet between them for dash capability?
Reasons for “coffins”:
# Nasty departure characteristics that are extremely difficult to successfully recover by the average line pilot.
# Rookies flying demanding aircraft.
# Accidents in low and fast and hard training under realistic conditions.
# Inherently dangerous and unforgiving ops environ, like e.g. on carriers.
Dare say no worthy targets for the F-22 up north.
In Europe there’s this car brand “Dacia”. Belongs to Renault and offers reasonably priced cars, in some markets below EUR10k. Not bad cars, btw. But the thing is that you basically forfeit the last 25 years of automotive development with it – that’s the price for a low price.
Enter J-7 – all you really need for your daily air to air business. If you’re not afraid of the political repercussions of going Chinese, that is. Cause … once you’ve gone yellow you never go back. Or?
The guy is a piece of art. Almost toooo good to be true …
Darn, don’t want to start conspiracy theories here, but his behavoour is like an Easter Gift for certain people! Either he’s really that total maniac, or do I smell fish here?? Just saying …
As long as their food supplies last.
North Korean soldiers are telling Southern TV reporters(You will be amazed what gets broadcast on Southern TV nowadays thanks to widespread cellphones) that they were getting the full amount of rations they were supposed to be getting so their lives were better and hoped that this max alert condition would last forever. Before the alert, they were getting half that.
The new leader was schooled in Europe and speaks four languages.
…
Sure.
Aware of that.
Has anyone data on the use of stimulants in the NKorean pol-mil leadership and the armed forces?
