It is not the ideas that have been the problems, it is when some come in with all guns blazing demanding things and then start posting flames when they are not met. There are ways and means to get your message accross. This has been the primary reason why previous threads have been removed. It was I who removed the last post and the reason was I could not risk leaving active with the potential for flames while not monitored or the situation which happened today occurs. (it happened anyway but I tried). The difference between this one and the previous threads is this is a dialgue. The others were not.

We are not the bad guys here, we really do not get a kick by banning people or deleting posts. Personally I would much rather prefer a quiet happy forum where deleted posts and banned members are but a distant memory.

While it might help to keep the board all neat and tidy, I suspect that enabling people to vent their frustrations here is the lesser of the two evils… If this thread goes, then the first thought is censorship, conspiracy and a clique-y few interfering with the thoughts of others…

Please keep personal feuds away from the forum. This discussion is not doing any favours to either the individuals involved or the board and I want it closed now. I have heard your demands and we will take note. Any elections or selections of moderators take place at its appropriate time.

Made it into a sticky and just changed the thread title slightly

I was referering to the 65,000 images we have stored in our database Manonthefence if you have 10 images at 100K each and 1000 people look at the thread that is a large chunk of bandwidth.

I know you can right click or use tabbed browsing in FF but I think it would be easier if it happened automatically.
