She was then the last to take off as they did the 4 formation and the flight that got me to have tears in my eyes, was the last fly past and she followed the Typhoon and was in the F3 that went straight up and out of sight, in reheat she tells me.

Yes, I was surprised how poignant that climb into the clear blue sky by the single Tornado F3 was. I think it showed that 111 Squadron had made a real effort to give the old Tornado F3 a bit of a send-off and I for one really appreciated it.
