Scale replica’s are okay but really you need to be in scale as well !

I was at Fantasy of Flight 2 weeks ago – here are some of my pics. Apparently the shipping boxes contain a Lancaster that is waiting to be restored to “Flying condition” – can’t wait to see that !
I’ve also included the latest pic of the new hanger (the first of 4 which will house the collection – the existing buildings will then be used as restoration and workshops). If anyone goes there, you MUST go on the guided backlot tours, they aren’t to be missed !!!
Regards,
Richard

I wouldn’t kick it out of bed, but I do prefer the Zero and FW190….
(There’s meant to be someone doing a D-9 version in the States!!)

They’re shrinking to fit my budget Chris. 😉
Cheers Daz, that Sea Fury’s not the finest looker is it? Think I prefer the P47 and FW190…

Look I know it hasn’t stopped raining for weeks and weeks, but there really is no need for the aircraft to start shrinking!!!!

Mmm, I do like the look of that WAR P47… I’d heard these things exist, but never seen one. Apparently they did a scale Sea Fury too…? (Youngy goes off to search for more pennies down the back of the sofa…)
Like this one, Steve??
And a Zero, too!

What’s that in the background of the helicopter photo (second one down) with the chap standing next to it. I could be wrong, but it looks like a WAR P-47!
