Not really ! A number of airframes survived because of their actions – examples that spring to mind include the Ashton fuselage at Newark – the nose of Vulcan XA903

…. plus the de Havilland Sea Venom FAW.21 WW217 also at Newark and a National Benchmark airframe on the National Aviation Heritage Register.:)
