Isn’t this where they eat Seal flipper pie and a delicacy called scrunchions consisting of deep fried herring tongue
Luckily didn’t come across those ‘delicacies’ 😮 just the best French onion soup in the world (from an Italian restaurant) as previously mentioned. New Brunswick had an interesting green vegetable called ‘fish heads’ 😀

I had read (on the Spit-rep discussion group) that someone from Nova Scotia had built a “half-scale” Spitfire. That could mean anything of course, since it was reported in the news. So “half-scale” could really be “80% scale” for all I know!! Just thought it needed checking out.

I liked being in Tenerife as I could handle the heat quite well, but would hate to be in a permanently warm climate – boring!!!

The grass is always greener………home is where you hanh your hat…………
Tenerife was great, but then you miss the seasons and you meet ugly English 😮 California was great, land of fruit and nuts, but then you get evacuated because of the fires, our lake level was down seventeen feet, seven years drought and the forest were being killed by the bark beetles. 9/11 didn’t do us any favours either, this was the beginning of the end.
Germany, too early to tell, four seasons, great food, good people. I didn’t mention India? now that is really different! :p
