Silence of the lambs was a chilling film and Anthony Hopkins portrayal of Hannabal Lector was brilliant and thoroughly deserved the Oscar.

Event Horizon was ‘creepy’ but for the terror value Alien is miles ahead. You know that somebody is going to get ‘nibbled’ if
a) they get separated from others b) open a room/cupboard etc c) hear a odd noise and go to investigate, unarmed and in the dark
