Nice pic Jason! I was on a return flight from Denver last night and we arrived at Sky Harbor in unison with another huge dust storm. We had just turned onto long final when the airport was shut down! We circled Phoenix for about 30 minutes and watched most of the city get enveloped in one of these trash movers! I had not witnessed it from that vantage point before, pretty impressive really. Are you living in the Phoenix area? I’ve been wanting to meet up with Scotty G. and get some info from him for a future RB-51 project. Hey Chad,
I work nights and I was just getting back to work from lunch when last nights big storm hit. If you were only 10 min. earlier you would have been good.
I live in Chandler and Scott lives out in Awhatukee so we get together now and then to fly and shoot the sh#t. We’ll all have to get together for lunch or something sometime; PM me either thru this board or thru Scotty’s site.
