Have been there twice but it was a very long time ago. Must be late 90’s. It was an great experience for me as this airfield was the first wartime airfield I ever visit in Lincolnshire and also a discovery to find out the wartime buildings. Sad about the demolished controltower. Hopefully we will visit Metherhingham this year in August. I think much is changed since my last visit. Superb display’s on the pics. I’ll tell you what..the H2S was came from my collection and found it in a shed in The Netherlands. Restore it and swop it with a friend in the UK. If I am right the Nav mock up came from a Dutch friend live in the UK. Anyway looking forward to meet and see the fantastic collection.
