Codes

Im afraid there are no clues as to where these codes were taken….i suppose as he hasn’t written any serials, perhaps he took them from flying Thunderbolts..
I have looked through both books but cannot find a date as to when they were published..I think both in 1944, pre June as, on the last page of the later one, he has written very large and underlined, ” JUNE 6th 1944 SECOND FRONT OPENED. plus some basic stats he must have read or got from radio i suppose, such as, “13,000 sorties flown on June 6th”, “british battleships, Warspite,Nelson and Ramilles in action also American battleships, Texas,Arkansas, and Nevarda (June 7th)” etc….The earliest date in the earlier book he has written is, Sunday 20 February 1944, he writes, “STIRLING SEEN TOWING HORSA GLIDER”

I dont expect anyone to post all identities here!…just for interest…..Just thought, he has listed them in three columns so perhaps they are three days worth?…..
