RAF Burnfoot

Burnfoot was a satellite of 15 EFTS Kingstown Carlisle a Grading School for aircrew after ITW. I was posted there from St. Andrews on New Year’s Eve Dec. 1943 moving to Burnfoot Jan.4th.. Tiger Moths grounded by weather most of January but managed to solo after 10 hrs. Feb. 28th. then off on 21 days leave Mar. 1st.
