Lets hope someone sorts out the issues with the b-25 and gets her flying someday. We need a flying b-25.

Thank you guys for that info. It just interest me to know where some of those planes are now.
For some reason i got the idea that the casa may be the one now at Iwm Duxford.

Anyone know what happened to the Casa?

I worked on that aircraft in 1993.

G-ADXS was displayed at Stories Garage Victoria Avenue or London Road and later went to the museum

A another flea was displayed at the Palace Theatre this one was the Flea that flew accross the English Channel…scary

The B25 is rotton main spar cut in two places heavt corrosion cockpit stripped and when anyone is at weald again look at whats holing it up…

the props are dug in to the ground,

I beleve its been left to fall in to such a state as there was a dispute over the owership, who would want to carry out any major work on it if it turns out YOU dont own it after all.

A shame to see it in such a sad looking state but these things happen if anyone would take it on it’ll be a big big job just to move it and the restoration would prove problematical but if someone wats to do it go for it it’ll be nice to see her saved.

I’ll post some more recent pics of the B25 & Casa later.

B.25 can still be seen at Aces High North weald, now known as BEDSHEET BOMBER I am sure someone can post a picture she does not look like she did in 1973 ! But I would love her for our museum :p

Last spotted leaving Aces High’s hangar at North Weald bound for Norfolk and owned by an American collector.

one example was a Silver Plated Luftwaffe Toast Raak WW2 vintage £110 to a Mr Ray Hanna… I think just need to check.
