Hello all!
Don’t know how many of you are already hooked onto this overly addictive game on Facebook but just thought I would advertise it on here in case any of you silly people with time on your hands are looking to become hooked onto an internet game! I warn you this game is SERIOUSLY addictive!! You have been warned!!!
http://apps.facebook.com/airline_manager/
The game can be described quite simply, set up your airline and conquer the world with your routes. You are given a 738 to get you started and about $400,000 odd in cash (I can’t actually remember the exact amount). You have to buy planes and set them up on routes, you also have to buy fuel in advance, fuel prices vary throughout the day so buy wisely! The game runs on a one plane, one designated route criteria and changing routes for a plane can incur a $5,000 fine as you usually have to cancel the route and restart it. The fine is for cancellation of the route, not change of plane! OK i am babbling on, any questions feel free to ask.
Yours faithfully
CEO of Aer Eireann Airlines :p
P.S. You also make your own logo on this game with Paint or I suppose Photoshop!! AND Buy shares in other airlines so remember Aer Eireann!! (Though I am informed I cannot be seen on the stockmarket for some reason)

Are you advertising?

Nostalgair is Mr Angry. Hey Richard, what’s happening? Do we sell?
By: symon - 12th May 2010 at 11:19
My Stock Board (yes, I’m still addicted) says that Nostalgair Airlines, UltraUK Airlines and Albion World Airlines airllines will be deleted on the 2nd June – I’m pressuming as a result of lack of use.
So if those are anyone’s that are reading…..

Indeed, I am the supreme overlord of Top Banana Airlines! I clearly have no life!
By: Arabella-Cox - 17th April 2010 at 22:19
Anybody here the owner of Top Banana Airlines? Mark Osborne? Heck, he has 276 Boeing 787-8s. I bought shares at $7.77 and now they are worth $102 odd. Damn, if i could only do that in the real world. :diablo:
Ok I guess that he is TheMIghtyOz from the post above, #161

WOOP!!!
First A380-800 😀
By: TheMightyOz - 15th April 2010 at 00:07
I’m now making enough money from my fleet of mainly B787-8s that I can afford to run a “classic flight” of York, Britannia and Viscount.
I’ve also got a Piaggio Avanti where a load of 9 passengers consistently results in the sale of 20 meals!

Thanks for letting me know about this game, folks. I’ve wasted sooooooooo many hours on this in the last two weeks!

Spammer?
What spammer?
By: Bmused55 - 13th April 2010 at 19:44
Strange  That happened to me a while back. That is the danger of operating in the third world. We used to have to buzz the runways at game farms to chase any animals away before landing and a Learjet hit a deer on the runway at Lanseria airport, South Africa(FALA). The poor deer was not as lucky as the cow unfortunately.
Have seen what happens when a King Air tackles a deer on take off,…..messy!

Have you tried Hamba Kashle Airlines?
By: symon - 4th April 2010 at 14:09
It says there aren’t any more available to me. But you’re proving to be a good earner! I bought 100,000 shares of yours at 10.69 and you’re now up to 39.79 and climbing! Look forward to selling those one day.

There are still 186,502 shares available in Top Banana Airlines. Currently at $39.63. Just bought my second A380 and I got an Avro York the other day because I couldn’t resist having some Merlin engines in the fleet. 🙂
