Mmmmm…sheep…. 😮
I thought Ken Ward’s neighbours were just sheep and mountain goats?
Didn’t he live about 100 miles from anyone..??
All I can say is that the neighbour must have had very good eyesight.
I wonder what on earth will happen to his vast collection/museum?

by all accounts a thoroughly unpleasant chap, with little or no respect for war graves. Deserves all he gets imho.

Forum member gets 5 years in the pokey
I suspect that now the collection is no longer required as evidence the Police will dump the lot in St Georges Channel or somewhere similar. This would be a pity as some of the collection is unique and historically significant. Perhaps if one or more accredited Museums bypassed the committee process, got their bums in gear very quickly and approached the police the important bits might be saved.

I fear but hope I am wrong. The moment the Police cordon came down the local “Hedge Monkeys” would have had that away to the local scrappy!:(

You could probably do sexual acts there if you did it in the toilets, I doubt anyone would know lmfao!
By: spitfireman - 10th December 2011 at 22:52
Standing naked in your neighbours garden observing them whilst you do sexual acts
Illegal
…all right, what if I don’t do the sexual act bit?
(bearing in mind my neighbour is Newquay Airport!)

I laughed at the way they say he exposed himself to the lady for 7 years but she only complained when he fired the air rifle…..
LMAO, im not sure ben is that deluded Jon 😀
By: inkworm - 10th December 2011 at 18:24
Exposing himself for 7 years? She probably got bored after the first 2 years.
By: BSG-75 - 10th December 2011 at 18:03
I thought you meant Nashio666 at first !

Cordite Explosive. It’s a low explosive, so probably from fireworks.
I don’t know where you get your fireworks…..but I wouldn’t want to live anywhere near you on Bonfire Night! :diablo:
By: Creaking Door - 10th December 2011 at 12:06
YOU would most certainly be top of my hit list if I were still a Copper, re, Aircraft parts…
No, nowhere near the ‘worst offender’ round here, still…..you’ll never take me alive! 😀
By: ppp - 10th December 2011 at 11:57
The police/paper creating drama where there is none, again! Ok, he’s guilty of the sexual offences, but I don’t see a problem with most of the other stuff.
Training Bombs
Bayonets
Military Knives
Aircraft Parts
Antique Militaria
Flare Guns
Legal
Machine Guns
Aircraft Cannon
Rifles
Pistols
Perfectly legal to own deactivated weapons, and they probably were!
Ammunition
Probably blank type rounds. Also I think shotgun rounds can be had without a licence too.
Cordite Explosive
It’s a low explosive, so probably from fireworks.

I love the sub-heading in the BBC article ‘Police Found’:
Aircraft Parts
Of course to ‘journalists’ this constitutes an ‘arms cache’ but I wonder if the term ‘deactivated’ has been somehow dropped () from items in that list.
Military Knives
Aircraft Parts
Antique MilitariaIf it is I suspect a few people around here better get themselves a good lawyer! 😀
C.D. Warren, YOU would most certainly be top of my hit list if I were still a Copper, re, Aircraft parts, even a Magpie hasn’t got a collection such as yours;)
Jim.

I thought he was put away for violating the rules for the “Wot Plane” thread.
:D:D
As Tangmere says, the chap was not a forum member, perhaps the rather sensationalist thread title can be adjusted?
By: paul178 - 10th December 2011 at 06:42
Well it will be rule 45 now!:D
