Has anyone out there got a spare $50,000 (£30,000) I have just read in Trade-A-Plane that the former Spencer Flack Hunter is up for sale. Although not currently airworthy the aircraft is still in good condition.
Lets hope this significant Jet Warbird aircraft finds a good home. In many ways Spencer Flack and G-HUNT paved the way for many current jet warbird owners.

Any chance of some photo’s of G-FLAK?
I did mention the sale of G-HUNT quite a while back as it has been up for sale for a long time now. $50,000 is way over the top for an un-airworthy single seat Hunter. I would love to see her put back into the Flack colours along with the old G-FIRE and then get a Sea Fury to join them.

Another former Spencer Flack machine comes over this way (Spilsby Lincolnshire) on a regular basis often in the early morning routing to York out of Norfolk…..
Beech’ Baron G-FLAK still in its bright red scheme….a lovely sight and sound…..

Unfortunately the market its small for the F.4/F.51 ‘s since the advent of the former Swiss machines flooding the market. Interestingly the BRM which Spencer met his end in is back on the circuit having been restored for his widow at Hall & Hall at Folkingham.
