Billionaires would not be billionaires if they were not aware of the value of every pound, let alone every 300 million. I assure you he would not cast off the words as easily as you do, Linc.

As a recognised BILLIONAIR, Whats the odd £3000.000.000. to him, I am sure he has a scheme to recoupe all that in time, one way or tother.

As a major investor he will do whatever he has to do to get a return on his investment. What else is he supposed to do?

Getting back on track,a boss who is willing to put in so much of his own money MUST know that he will be getting a bigger return somewhere down the line.How he does it i would guess will be get rid of staff,bring in short term contracts ,minimum pay and conditions ,cheap expendable labour and some sort of whip cracking threat over the Scottish who need money generated by it.

I see the Boss has put in £300.000.000 Mil of his own money to keep it going.

Let’s give both sides the chance to make the three year agreement work. And pass judgement if it doesn’t, but not before it’s even started!

Ineos have laid off contractors, doesn’t sound promising to me, there was a buy out package being put together probably with government support, but that would have meant allowing the company to go into recievership before administrators could take over.

I doubt very much if we know the full story, but certainly this looks like the coal mine and mill owners of old who would cut wages of their workers always using the threat of accept or lose the job altogether. Having cowed the unions this boss will be back for another bite of the cherry.

Geoff my thoughts as well, I was surprised they never hit the Scottish Government with an additional investment condition when they started begging to keep it open., they sort of had them over a barrel.
They have already I believe got shot of a load of Connie’s who they surly need to run the place.

My dear chap, one was recovering this week from last weeks trip, Duxford airshow, Stonehenge, Weymouth, Bovington Tank Museum, Portsmouth Hysterical dockyards and Oxford all in three days, covering 680 odd miles.
