I think that’s just gonna p!ss her off! There’s playing hard to get, but then there’s being an arse! Txt her, ask her what she’s upto, anything much, haven’t seen you in a while, how about we meet up at some point?

Ask her best mate out and see what kind of reaction you get from that.

So I say “Hi Nina” and immediately have to turn right and go down some steps to the river as my nose has become one gushing torrent of blood for no reason at all.

God, that is so funny looking back, but what a way to not impress the girl you want to be with forever and ever amen!

Last I heard she was a right ropey old slag, and I know she’s been married and divorced.

You’re so totally right man! Sometimes when I come back to my old schooltowns/hometowns and meet or see an old flame of mine I really consider myself lucky for not being married to one of them. Time does some terrible things, esp to once cute gals.

I see a lot of smart ass answers to your dilemma.
Guess alot of folk can’t remember what its like.
Best advice I can give is to just be yourself.

Ok,airlineowner, you’ve really helped me in this forum so I’ll do my best!:
Now,i hang around with alot of girls and I know this girl who fancies this boy and she justs acts freindly around him, they give each other freindly hugs, have you done that??Say hi everytime she goes near you, smile.Really show your feelings to her without making it obvious!
I’ve had 4 girlfriends in the past, how did we make it?
:I got a friend to ask her
:Someone “accidently” shouted out that I fancied her[even though I wanted her to I still shouted at her!]
I was so serious once we swapped valentines gifts,I got a card made by her,I gave her some chocolate hearts and a pic of me.
Eventually we split up as she left school without telling me she was!
Hope I helped in some way!
Good luck on whatever u do!

Just do it “my way”. Take her out for a drink. To make talking more smooth, drink a couple of gin tonics yourself, after which you start to blablabla. Forget about the fact she is a huge fan of the Doors, start flaming on that moron Jim Morisson with his crappy music. After a while she’ll leave, but the bill is still yours. The day after, you regret everything and burst out in tears. 🙁 Feel so embaressed that next time you meet her on the train, sweat is dropping from your forehead. It all sounds a lot more funny than it was back then.
