Pic comes from a RNLAF flightsafety bulletin from 1986.
must be the lowest… to live and tell..

Hey everyone, I’ve been a lurker for ever and thought I might contribute to the site.
I’m a crew member on the September Pops Unlimited Air Racing Team and we just rapped a few days of practice at PRS (Pylon Racing Seminar) in Reno. I shot some video from pylon 8 that I thought would fit well with this thread. Each clip is a little over 24 Megs so sorry for the long download times, but I wanted to keep the quality high.

*sigh* it seems as if im not going to live that mistake down  as it says in the title, Raf tornadoes, and unless you watch it all the way through and freeze it, its not easy to see otherwise 😮

three insane tornado pilots
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7IwplA7_4lU
the third aircraft is a bit too low! was anyone at brize norton family day a couple of years back when the vc10 did a flyby with full flap, and idle engines, as soon as he got overhead, flaps up and whacked the throttle forward? gazeebo’s went everywhere :D:D:D also heard about buccaneers in the american desert taking the tops of sand dunes with their wingtips they were that low! awesome 😀
Those are not Tornadoes in that video. Those are Alpha Jets. If you freeze around 21/22 timescale you will see the classic Alpha Jet tail. You can also make out white markings on the tails. They look like Belgian Alpha Jets.

Tillerman.
Flamin nutter springs to mind, specially with the turn to port, that could have been a brown trousers moment, albeit briefly……. Bex

A&AEEs Bev on trials of ULLA The wheels are low level but the cockpit is at a reasonable altitude;)

i had to admit the last one didn’t look like a twin engine aircraft, the angle that the vid is taken from makes it difficult to tell what they are, my bad about the phantoms though….still flying like that deserves a couple of mentions not just one?:diablo: cheers

in addition to the three insane tornado pilots in above, how about some mental german pilots in their F-4’s???
Please check a little before posting, ref. “RAF Tornados”: “You tube” (comments): wluc (5 days ago)
For sure these are are Belgian’s Air Force Alphajet during deployment at Solenzara air base in Corsica.”
Also the German F-4’s are just 5 posts “to the North” (10’th June).
(Yes, I know the “You tube” comments are a da…. pain to go through, but sometimes you get the real story!)

and some generally insane americans

Best one in that is where an F-14 does a flyby at no more than 40 feet, between two ships (below the carriers main deck ) jsut breaking the sound barrier, its awesome because the water below him is being affected by his shockwave :diablo:

😮
I swear he clips the fence with his main wheels… plus, pause it and watch the guy closest to the jet. I think he soils himself…..
