My cherished classic car has been nicked!

Can you believe that, in the middle of last night, some ba*ast*rd, made off with my treasured classic Toyota.

Mrs Moggy was just leaving the house.

She came back in and shouted upstairs

“Where’s the Toyota?”

The answer is.. we no longer know.

A couple of days back a guy called at the door enquiring about it, he said he wanted to buy it.

Last night he obviously came back and helped himself.

When I’ve seen reports on here of cars being stolen or trashed I have always felt a little smug, living in almost crime-free rural Norfolk. Now it’s happened to me.

Grrrrrrrr!

Needless to say the appearance of the guy who called leads one to believe that his ‘house’ is almost certainly equipped with wheels and a towbar.

I must admit to not finding this news item overly upsetting today

I’m sure you’re not, but I wouldn’t wish that end on anyone. I don’t know what kind of human being would.

Incidentally, I know the exact fish and chip shop they crashed into as it’s only a few miles form my house. This is not pleasant news to hear when it’s virtually on your doorstep. Then again, living in a nice ‘almost crime free’ village in Norfolk, you probably wouldn’t know.

Well there’s a Jaguar and Citroen, but they can’t match the style and sheer street presence of the Carina E

A very slow (if economical) getaway 😉

Moggy

Sorry to hear of your loss.
Hope they catch ’em. Our family once had a car stolen. It ended up about 8 blocks away at some apartments of ill repute. Sad thing was it got taken to the police pound miles away and WE had to pay for it being stored there overnight . Should be that the idiots who do this stuff have to work harder when caught and produce something of value to pay for their damage. Shouldn’t be the victims who pay!

Keep an eye out for any cars used as ‘get-away vehicles’ in the news….
