Hi everyone, I know I’m new but I would just like to raise the issue of blood donations to the NHS. I have been a donor for 2 years and have recently been given my Bronze award for 10 donations. I am a firm supporter of the British NBS and would like to ask anyone here who lives in the UK and is not already donating to consider it as a new years resolution and help save lives. Thanx 😀
P.S. Nice forum u guys have here and I look forward to being an active member.

First the Hellaids, now Herve…who’s next? Kabir? Arthur? 😀

But then you would say that, wouldn’t you?
And now we have probably turned Herve Villechaize off of this forum now, you realise that?

Hey now, I don’t even OWN an axe! The fact that I had to drop it in the ocean notwithstanding, of course 😀
By: Flood - 29th December 2003 at 18:35
Or at least admitted to it…
And I am keeping well away from you and your blood-stained axe, thank you!

Yes, but I really don’t want to upset the looneys!:D

Now be honest, there’s more than a LITTLE madness here 😀
By: Flood - 29th December 2003 at 17:35
(Coff!) Ahem… Yes? Welcome to our little bit of madness.
Er, love blood – hate needles. Hate the sight of my blood even more… Just hope I never need it back, too.

Even funnier…Lockheed licensed Yakovlev’s “lobsterback” main engine nozzle for the VTOL F-35B variant 😀

What I find really funny is that the JSF looks a lot like the Yak-141 “Freestyle” in a slightly more advanced stage of development, so the sharp edge of NATO’s sword is going to be in a way a Soviet design, ohhh the irony 😉 .

Like Russian equipment? You’ll get along fine with me and Arthur 😀 If Russia had the money to spend they’d still be a little behind though, they spent too long relying on GCI and less on the individual pilot, and designed even the MiG-29 and Su-27 to operate in such an environment. Makes the aircraft a little less capable when it comes to actively searching for and destroying targets autonomously. I do like Russian ideas though, the Keldysh plasma stealth concept is rather ingenious.

Hi SOC and thanx for the welcome, well to answer ur question I enjoy reading up on exotic air forces such as Sri Lanka and Eritrea (loved the Eritrean Su-27 snap on the forum). I also like Russian and Chinese fighters and Russian choppers, don’t really care much for comparing them to US aircraft as I get annoyed when people start blabbing about how much more advanced US aircraft are which seems a lot but when u compare how much Russia has to spend compared to the US and Russia still comes up with ass kicking fighters u have to ask urself is the gap really that big? What if Russia had as much to spend on development as the US? Who would be behind who? 🙂
P.S. I have nothing against Americans, that wasn’t a stab ok 😀
