York’s a good city to shoot – and a good city for drinking in! 🙂

And for standing outside the main entrance of pubs saying “I wonder where the nearest pub is?” 😉

Hi Paul. I told you I had back ordered a tz20, and now it’s on the market, it’s had some very good reviews.
Mine is supposed to be delivered into the shop today, and I hope they can get it off today to me.

Way over my head, Linc, but it sounds intriguing. Are you going tomorrow? Have a good day when you do and remember we need to see the results on the Non-Av photo thread here.:)

But best take your shots before you start exercising the right arm….;)

Pete. don’t please get me wrong, but Paul will know what I mean, when I say all my primes are I.S. Thats Image Stabalised, so you could more or less have an epileptic fit, and relativly speaking take a good photo, as the lense has a compensation system built in to take care of camera shake, although I have not put any lense to the test to see just how much abuse it would take.
A bit different to the Brownie 127, I started off with.
Am looking forward to going.
Apart from that, it will give the Mods a rest, knowing I am off line:D

Yeah I can, post me your 5DII if you’re not gonna go out and use it! 😀

It’s funny you should mention that Paul, as I have charged one set of batteries, and a second set is, at this very moment charging.
Am hoping to go to York, so will probably give myself a hernia, lugging everything I DON’T need around. Looking at Manfrotto legs at the moment, now they are an expensive item.

Sacrilege. I think he meant soda – not sure what else fizzy anyone could possibly drink with whisky. For me it’s a generous glass of Bruichladdich, Highland Park, Scapa or Lagavulin with a tiny dash of water. I used to like Laphroaig but found it was just too peaty. Mind you, as I said elsewhere, I drink almost no spirits now, anyway….:)

No, knowing you, you have an I.V. drip on a stand 😀

Whisky with fizzy pop!! The thought of it!!
😉

Reminds me of the old Corona bottles Pete, some person spends years making the perfect whisky, and then some folk spoil all that hard work, by diluting it with some noxious substance, what are we coming to?.
