I must admit, I havn’t tried an Irish whisky, but I must admit I do like a well matured Scottish Malt whisky.
I find that whisky when taken with a spoonful of honey and warm water is great when you have a cold, well thats my excuse anyway;)

Irish whiskey is distilled three times, while Scotch whisky, apart from Auchentoshan,which is distilled twice.so that Irish Whiskey has a smoother finish.
And apart from a drop of water,i don’t need to mask its flavour with a fizzy pop.
I dont mind a drop of Batemans XXXB though.
