if the weathers any good tomorrow morning (Thurs) then you’ll be in with a good chance, and if you happen to be passing around 10.30 you may see a Spitfire flying too..

Have just spent 3 hours at Coningsby. No Lancaster im afraid ,while i was there.

Sorry mate about that ,but I did say check weather. It has been iffy all day, but as you say the Dak made it out between the showers so you did see something.
Lanc out Thurs AM as Fluffy said.(weather permitting)

I just found out the Lanc is coming to my hometown of Assen on May 5th.
I’ve never seen her fly before and would have seen her on RIAT this year for the first time, but now she’s coming to Holland.

May 5th is our libaration day and she will do a flight over our town and also over the Lancaster memorial of JB154.
I’m already getting excited and it’s still 2 months away 🙂

Have just spent 3 hours at Coningsby. No Lancaster im afraid ,while i was there, but the Dakota was doing practice displays for a good long while. I shot some 35mm B/W but for now there is a frame from some video footage shot.

The weather was awful at times, I wonder if the Lanc ever made it out?
