Plebgate

These officers who are appearing before MPs today,
Why are they not on trial for misconduct?

Unbelievable !

Charlie, as I see it if your found guilty and its proved, do your time, take it on the chin and everyone can move on. I do not hold a grudge on anyone who messes up or makes a mistake, it happens. Also if proved innocent, the stuff that was on the fan must be cleaned off as some of the celebs are now finding out it sticks.

Jim, I do not want a big one this year please !

TA

Blast, rumour has it you have a big one, anyway, I’ve got you one, it’s a photo of Ed Elasticband and Davvid Cameroon having a snog, signed by both…:o

As said further back in this thread, the METROPOLITAN Police force is so corrupted it would most likely pull it down if it all came out, it would make the Burma thread look like a fairy tail.
On this plebgate debacle, there are two main strands.
1, the officers at the gate who LIED, COLLUDED, CONSPIRED
2, the three officers that LIED,COLLUDED, CONSPIRED in their statements about Mitchell’s account of what he said to the officers at the gate of Downing street.

To me this is a sackable offence, Sgt Jones looked very uncomfortable in his interview in front of the committee and it was like getting blood out of a stone for him to admit his past brushes with his bosses, most of which if it had been the man in the street he would be charged for, the ‘old Boys School’ protected him, he is a rotten apple, and more will be forthcoming about him soon.

So no argument, all involved should brought to trial and prove their innocence and if found Guilty be sacked, no mamby pamby at home on full pay and pensions stopped. This is the tip of the iceberg and as I have said before, the man in the street would of not stood a chance in this situation.

I don’t know of any man who has been investigated so many times, seemingly for accepting “Back handers”, to keep their position. Had he been a Copper, he would have been shown the door long ago.
He is a typical “Old school tie”, wallah…..You only have to look and see who is Defence Council has been once or twice.

Indeed it could if the police hadn’t lied their way through the last year.

ref post 38

Mitchell was sacked from his government job, but merely stepped into another position which on the surface actually pays better, of course he will have lost the gold plated expense account which is probably the biggest loss.

I am not excusing or condoning the police officers and as I made fairly clear the police do not have the greatest trust rating anyway, but there is an awful lot of fuss over a relatively minor issue which could have been sorted much quicker and simpler.

You miss the point completely!

At last, we have common ground. Charliehunt has a whole heap of more sense than me.

Then again, so far as you’re concerned, can I blank your idiocies ? Probably yes

I think that most reasonable and intelligent people would ‘predict’ that there is ‘very little chance of a subsequent scandal and inquiry’ because of what went before and for no other reason. I’d bet my bottom dollar that those main gates will be swinging backwards and forwards, opening and closing like my sphincter after a hard night on the curry. Swearing or no swearing.

Not too unintelligible for you ?

I can offer a translation service for those suffering, thru’ no fault of their own, from a restricted education.

So you actually agree with what I’m saying but because of your own obtuse manner still choose to argue about it. If you were able to carry out a sensible debate without resorting to insult and nonsense (Tesco and lottery??) you might be taken seriously but until then, I think it would be best if you do what charliehunt does and ignore my posts. It would save you much embarrassment.

Which apparently they did until all this nonsense blew up.

I referred to Dennis Fallon’s FOI earlier but here is the link, if you want to read the details including the obfuscated responses to some of the questions.
