Here’s my new avatar, it took a while to do. can anyone guess the Spitfire and the location/year?

Thanks for naming a thread after me, perhaps a memorial library next 😉 for achievements in avatar creation

Id seen an animated avitar on another forum and i was as perplexed as perhaps you were when you saw mine. Much searching and reading on the internet led me to a page which pretty much teaches you how to make one. They are Gif files and you can make them quite complex if you wish alhtough there is a limit on here not only in the dimensions of the image 70pix x 70pix max but also in file size. Im at home at the moment but will be back at uni by late evening, here i have the info on making them and i shall post it. Alternatively, send me a series of images no bigger than 70pix x 70 pix that make up an animation and i will construct one for you. Mine came from taking some stills from some of my video footage.

Somewhere abouts on this stinking pile of poo that I call a computer, there is a .gif file I have of a Spitfire – I shall dig it out.
