Galaxy Quest

Real-life aliens try to recruit the cast of a sci-fi TV show in order to help save their endangered race. Good fun.

Arlington Road – Jeff Bridges and Tim Robbins. Hadn’t seen it for some time and enjoyed it as much as the first time. Chilling!

E.T. – The Extra-terrestrial

Last time I saw this, it was the God-awful re-release version from a few years back – you know, the one where they put in deleted scenes and CGI’d the shotguns out in case people were offended by the Federales pointing weapons at kids.

Thankfully, this time it was the proper 1982 version. Much better!

Insomnia – Pacino. Never saw it originally but very good indeed.

Batman Returns

Hadn’t seen this in at least a decade – turns out to be not as good as the original, despite Michelle Pfeiffer’s turn as Catwoman. Still decent, though.

I’ll maybe need to watch it again, then.

I saw World’s End last week. As good as Shaun, better than Fuzz in my opinion.

It had me laughing helplessly, several times.
