Spitfire PRXI, personally. Those gorgeous wings unblemished by cannon, that graceful, pointed rudder, that throbbing Merlin up front.

It’s practically sexual! 😀

Some people are so easily pleased…

Hi Paul welcome to the mad house. You can’t beat AEF flying in those chipmunks… Ah happy days…

Very happy days indeed, Will have to dig out the old flying log one day, seems a lot of my old first flights are now resting in museums.. ie: G ASKK Herald residing at Norwich. XD163 Whirlwind Weston Heli museum, And I am sure that some of the T21/T31 gliders are still kicking around, God bless em.

Thanks for the welcome,, And thanks also Mark9 Anne

Hi everyone.. Newbie in here. Been an aviation freak since time began I guess. From a spotty 13 year old, strapped into a chippy, sat on a parachute bigger than me, and oh so uncomfortable, hanging about upside down, seeing the Isle of Wight from a different angle, I was hooked. Been reading the posts on here for eons, thought I would join in the fun.. Cheers Paul

You are very welcome old chap 😉 😀 😀 Anna

But I’ve been down so long
Ooh, it can’t be longer still
We’ve been down so long
That the end must be drawing near

Sorry, it’s from a song… 😉
