He has a point!

My high school reunion in a few weeks is going to be interesting – I’ll be one of the few people there, if not THE only one, who’s not married or got kids!

Be patient 319. Trust me, that’s not something you want to rush into, then realise further down the line that you’ve got it wrong…

My back’s a bit ouchy this morning, having spent most of yesterday driving around Central Scotland.

Prick in a Range Rover not letting me move over into the left-hand lane, then tailgating me and putting his full beam on to try to dazzle me.

Sorry, mate, doesn’t work. However, get out and let’s see if you’re man enough without a couple of tons of car to back you up…!

My mother taking to telling my father to go away, because she doesn’t need him to visit her.
And knowing that the chance of her saying the same thing to me is slightly less than the chance of Prince William joining the Brownies.

PeeDee, I’m a born and bred Bradfordian, I’ve lived here all my life but I’d still like to see it levelled and started from scratch. You’re bang on though, we have awesome curry houses! 😀

Leeds has some nice drinking holes so I’d quite like that to be left alone. With a bit of luck that horrendous place 10 miles to the west will be the one that gets it! 😀

What the hecks happening to our world, floods, fire, huge mud slides causing devastations, well, I think we get the picture, but why is this happening?

Looking at the frequency such things have historically happened we’re due another fairly catastrophic meteor impact as well at some point fairly soon, just to make matters worse!

These things happen all of the time, and have done since time immemorial.

Thanks to the technology available to the world’s news media nowadays, vivid images of natural disasters are brought straight into our living rooms often within hours – or even minutes – of the event occurring.

As a result, it seems as if they are happening more frequently.

BTW – we have a thread on the Christchurch earthquake already running.

Hi Anne. It would appear that there was a Tectonic plate that ran through the centre of Christchurch they didn’t know existed.
