I don’t know -I usually get downstairs forward pretty fast when I trip on them because of my varifocals .

I look under my glasses coming down stairs as I find it avoids the problems of varifocals.
The reason you have trouble getting back up the cellar steps is probably from over indulging in the contents of the cellar between gooing down and coming back up.

£ signs of ageing: 1) everything aches-what doesn’t ache doesn’t work. 2) you need your glasses on to find your glasses. 3) You can get down stairs faster backwards than you can forwards.

😀 1. Cod Liver Oil Extra High Strength each morning prevents the aches.
2. Don’t need glasses but wear sun defenders.
3. I slide down the handrail, now that is quick.:D

I have no trouble getting down the stairs to the wine cellar… but i seem to have an awful lot of trouble getting back up for some reason

I’m actually really happy at the moment! 😀 – I’ve finished my English coursework, one piece of my Spanish coursework and by tonight i’ll have my last piece of coursework done! Plus, i’m nearer to a C now in English for A level and a D in Spanish and it’s a CDD total that I need to get into Sunderland! :D:D

You’re explaining things I already know. I’m not disagreeing with you, its just everyones experience with things that relate to your psychology are pretty individual.

I’m not going into it on here but I went through so much as a kid and it took a long time to get over it all but i’m fine now and its because I went about things in a way that helped me personally. What works for some doesnt necessarily work for others.
