YOUR extra at Legends…

OK,
Trying to cool off some of our over excited members – time for a game of ‘Fantasy Legends’.

What ONE aircraft, CURRENTLY flying anywhere in the world, wouldd YOU bring to Legends, and why.

For Smug points, you may chose something that’s going to be there…

Cheers / Salut

PS Who knows, it there’s enough votes, you might persuade Steven G that’s your heart’s desire is the best bet for 2005…

Does the Champlin FW 190D count? If so, its my choice.

Otherwise Fifi, Glacier Girl, ME262 replica, LSFM A20 Havoc (again if airworthy but now flown counts), Ed Russell’s ME109 or the Seafire 47 would do very nicely thanks very much.

How about a Douglas A26 – are there any airworthy?

Otherwise Glacier Girl.

And if Jets are allowed the RNHF SeaHawk.

Or – a Grumman A-6 😉

Is there a Macchi 202 which is airworthy? I thought I saw a picture of one on here not so long ago which was at least taxiing?

If there is one which is a flyer, I’d like to see one at Legends please!

Regards,

Paul

Mine would be the Stormbirds ME262, and all of those already mentioned of course.

What about the B17? Not Boeing, but SAAB. That would be a coup, and maybe even a first in UK skies.

Can I vote for a pair?

I’ll have a “Morane and C36” pair, please. Not for me, i’ve seen them before, but to show you lot that we have some nice birds over here.

still nervous

CWH’s Lancaster would be nice, a 4 ship diamond of 2 x lancs and 2 x B-17’s would be cool. Also just for the CAA to change the regs on european warbirds so there can be a ‘gathering of mustangs’ like the old days of legends, i think there was 10 there once? Also the B-29 as already mentioned and maybe the B-24 to come over again. there are just too many juicy items out there to choose from to choose just one ! 🙂

Remember its got to be a current flyer – so no Mozzy I’m afraid.

Sorry – guess that shows my knowledge of warbirds, eh!
