YOUR extra at Legends…

OK,
Trying to cool off some of our over excited members – time for a game of ‘Fantasy Legends’.

What ONE aircraft, CURRENTLY flying anywhere in the world, wouldd YOU bring to Legends, and why.

For Smug points, you may chose something that’s going to be there…

Cheers / Salut

PS Who knows, it there’s enough votes, you might persuade Steven G that’s your heart’s desire is the best bet for 2005…

Mike! you mean the Seafire 47 I presume?

Yup. But if you have to pick ONE… Which one wins out?

(My No.2 choice would be the Lockheed Hudson – a v. important early W.W.II aircraft globally, shockingly under represented and under recognised.)

FIFI for me too. This is what i have wanted to see more than anything. Other than that the Spruce Goose, Hughes XF-11 and the H-1 racer.

It’s getting a bit like the sad end of the bar here…

Remember FiFi’s a big girl, B-29s have crossed the Atlantic to DX before (OK, one…)

I’d quite like to see the B-29 from the States. Failing that, a P-38 or Mosquito would be great.

Why would I want to see them? Because I’ve never seen any of them flying before!

Chiz, chiz chiz Moggy. Quel domage.

However it also fails to fall into the ‘Legends’ category of the show. I kno and you kno they’re wrong, but, they don’t old bean.

Any timescale? Or will you have to turn up with a big spanner and offer to ‘help’ around someone’s ear?

PA22 G-ARNE 🙂

However, “currently flying” is the moot point. It isn’t, it’s still at the menders 🙁

Ageorge… As I’m a fellow fan, why, yes!

Rather like that pass at Gatwick. Oh, to have been there…

Zero. Is the PoF Zero (proper engine – not US substitution) airworthy? That’d be cool.

I get to go first!

Matthew Denning’s Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation Boomerang. Go, Aussie Go…

Because? Australia’s only indiginous production fighter. And it’s a class plane…

Cheers / Salut
