Interesting q. I would assume that it is English as this is the International Standard for ATC and flying.

However if you are referring to the software language, then this could be any programme as they are all custom written applications.

Before the tie up with KLM in the mid 90’s, NW operated GLA-BOS and before that PIK-BOS. They decided it was more lucrative at the time for them to route their pax via AMS and use the DC-10 on routes to and from Japan.

It has been suggested that if NW decide to employ 757’s on some transatlantic routes that a return to GLA is not out of the question.

GLA has some of the external apron cameras hooked up to a giant projector screen TV above the information desk on the first floor.

Gotcha – I’m not too familiar with the EDI schedules.

TCX are only 1 weekly. So 2x weekly summer only service, plenty of scope for Zoom or whoever to start YYZ flights if they choose.

The Canadian Affair Website seemed to show a SAT and SUN flight.

Air Transat – 1 per week.
Thomas Cook – 2 per week.
