And there was no heating in the hangars back then, so lots of heavy winter clothing while working on aeroplanes, the not so good old days!

There is heating in the hangar now, true.

How many Corsairs Flying in the Uk ? 2 or 3 ? Where did the OFMC machine go to

Flying in the UK?

Only the TFC example now in the UK.

OMFC corsair went to New Zealand.

Not so long ago we had 4 flyers at duxford with another 1 at biggin hill.

One before I go.Barton early 90s from a slide and one I just managed to catch.:)

That would be 1992,Carl schofield at the helm.

We had spent all morning cleaning the FG-1D

Was the same weekend as Mildenhall, i remember the B-25 went up to barton as well with Dizzy at the controls, happy days!!

Anyone know what happended to the JP that was used by CRC in cambridge?

It was in the hangar at Kings hedges then got moved to a hangar over the road from Marshalls?

Spitfire over Harwich at 15.20 no transponder on,a regular visitor now,seen several times.

I believe another ex-WoGB piece of history has also made a return to DX as well as G-SPIT…

G-SPIT is in much better condition than the one you are talking about Roobs!

Shift work 3 X over the weekend 600am —200pm, 200pm —10pm, 10pm — 600am simples 😀

if only Duxford would stay open until sunset over Legends weekend well the Friday anyway.
