Hope you did’nt bet too much
HFL have no Mkix Spitfire on rebuild.
ARCO however are working on Mkix TA805 for Peter Monk. 😉
Taking of Brisfits, anyone know how the TFC one is coming along?
Nope. Both P-39 and P-63 have doors on both sides.
You try and get in one from the port door.
Good evening Mr Bomber, good to see you’re still about….
You to ,Mr Fan 🙂
Oh yeh, I’ll sleep better now – smartarse.
AF (Ex BBMF)

Its september in the year of our lord 2005.

And is a waste of two good merlins……………….. 🙂

Stephen Grey flew the hawk down there and flew the Bearcat home.
Nick Grey flew the P-51C down there and flew the Hawk home.
Paul Bonhomme flew the Bearcat down and the Thunderbolt back.
Carl Schofield flew the Thunderbolt down and the P-51C back home.
Hope this helps you.

Very nice pics!
Do you know who the pilots of the TFC a/cs were?
Yeah i do.
. Personally I’d pay double to see that Spitfire flypast and box 4 of Hurricanes.
That is exactly what the Planners of this play on.
And untill people vote with there feet you probably will end up paying double.
What is really sad are the self appointed experts who claim there are historians.
We could all claim to do that.
I’ve written to veterans, collected original photos of ww2 aircraft helped with paint schemes, etc but i will never claim to consider myself expert on anything.
Mr Hammond has produced a fantastic airworthy P-51.
The workmanship is second to none.
He’s about to complete another one.
That speaks for itself.
It’s crap throwing like this thread that soils this forum.
Bwb,now off into exile
All well and good, provided it doesn’t get thrown around like a Pitts Special as seems normal for UK displays. I’d prefer to see it come back to this side of the pond completely intact, thanks very much.

Good one.
Maybe the CAF could operate it.
Sure they would keep it ‘intact’
