    Hawkers Finest,you seem to have some personel issues,you should fit in well on this forum.

    As for Hawkers Finest,Yeah i like the Hurricane as well,shame they let themselves go down the pan with nasty old scrappers like the Sea Fury.

    Now they do make good Statics

    Dont see to many re engined corsairs flying these days…..

    This is a great shame

    Following the ditching of this Corsair many thought it wouldnt fly again,and to have this happen so soon must be a real kick in the gut.

    A very stock airframe this F4U-5 also saw combat in Korea.

    Third time lucky??

    I think not.

    The Bob Odegaard one is already on its second engine.

    And with TFCs links with Planes of Fame i think any ideas of a super corsair went down the pan when Kevin Eldridge baled out of their machine following an in flight fire.

    Too many pots and not enough cooling air.

    Funny how an incident with an RAF aircraft at an airshow is kept fairly low in the press
