As the show is so close i can reveal the secret.

The whole connie edwards fleet that has been in storage since the end of filming “the battle of britain” has been shipped to a secret location in the UK for assembly and debut.

The location is a ” shed in the garden ”

The chief engineer is a certain cartoon dog “Roobarb”

Once delivery of his grey one piece overalls, spurs and cowboy hats has taken place test flying will commence by Mr Roobarb and his chief Pilot known only as “Custard”

The stunning dogfight routine the two carry out is not to be missed.

    Kennet Aviation Skyraider

    The Kennet Skyraider looks fantastic.

    Well done to all concerned.

Another example of getting a paint job spot on with “In House ” research.

    Nice pictures.

Shame about the windscreen and the undercarrage doors do not have the Pump blisters.

Stronger 20 Series wing departing from the original elliptical planform.

    Wider undercarriage.

    Mark

Not to mention larger tail/fin,rudder on the 22/24 ,piano hinge ailerons, fire detection system , different flap system, enclosed undercarrage…. etc etc

The mk21 was a tricky one to fly as it still had the smaller tail and rudder of a mk14.

With all the RAFs cutbacks can you really see it being restored?

If it is im sure a current aircraft will be moved on.
