    thats such a waste!

The article claims that the Brahmos can target and land in a football goalpost 300 km away.

That is just really bad! can they not make a better targetting system? i mean come on! the goal is soo much bigger and the idiots are hitting the goal posts? hmm thats useless, tell them not to worry Mr Behakham will not be to worried if they get it in the goal from that distance.

    🙁

Hmmm… I did forget the potential Russian connection in Brahmos II as well. You have a point, but I seriously doubt if Russians would be willing to colloborate on a 700km, mach 8 missile possibly with a SCRAM jet. There are more questions than answers.

SCRAMJET is nothing new or nothing un achievable, and India has already dont testing on scales of these i believe.

Mach 8 is hard to beleive if Brahmos -II is going to be a Ram jet as well.

And 700km with some “tweaking”? – Its more than 200% of its current range. Very hard to believe.

    The numbers look very suspicious.

    SCRAMJET

You guys couldnt scan it in for me could you ? Also what tweaking can possibly done to double the range of the missile without loosing too much in terms of payload ?

Is the Brahmos Filamant wound or is it a solid shell AL/-7/5/X series alloy ?

Well For The New India Today which is coming out , we will have some thing on Brahmos as well as something on SuperBrahmos

Agreed , I dont think any Capital ships of IN will ever get Uranium, But How about funding the uranium program for a air launcher variant , The jags-IM, SARH, SeaKing, KA could be the possible aircraft which could carry the 230km ranged Uranium

What is the Uraniam program and what do you mean SuperBrahmos ? hmm i live far away from civilisation cant get hold of India Today here :'(

Engine efficiency is nearly the same on both planes.

That nearly the same difference multiplied over thousands of miles makes a big difference. As much as the I dont apreciate fully the Typhoons Ability I do have to say that it is far better then the sewer hornet.

Matt who needs the F-35 , when we are getting the PAK-FA something more capable and in class of F-22 , I doubt if the US will even sell a downgraded F-22 to even its closest ally Israel.

Least we forget about our very own MCA.

I know that India would not get the F-22 or F-35 thats why i suggested it 🙂 , just a point that we cant afford to prop up US’s aircraft Industry until they come along while we dont even have a Industry that can match 🙂
