This move is long overdue, no threat to Europe, and South Korea, as well as Europe should be capable of defending themselves…the American Taxpayer has paid for this long enough….
Erm you have payed your taxes so the US can keeps its influence and lession the reaction times to potential threats not to protect US EUROPEANS. Might have been true in the cold war, but even then at the end of the day US was only doing itself a favour by posting troops in Europe.
The STRYDER IS not good at all btw and it isnt that durable, I remember posting several articles my self about how the American defence department was worried about it. The stryders have less protection then the M1A2 and that has been brought down by an projectile the diameter of a pencil in Iraq.
If the US want to remain influential then they would have to keep basses in Korea and other Asian states specially to contain China
