If the seeker head and corresponding electrogimickary is not upto the task then their is no obvious point in a high speed Mach 2+ missile, iirc EM waves are faster then sound so against jammers and such i doubt the Velocity would have a big effect.

France’s Dassault mulls plans to make electric cars with India’s Tata

The car manufacturing arm of French aerospace giant Dassault Aviation is mulling plans to manufacture an electric car with India’s leading automobile company Tata Motors, an industry official said Thursday.

Dassault’s Societe Des Vehicules Electriques (SVE) is exploring options of either setting up a joint venture firm in India or entering into a technology transfer arrangement with Tata Motors, said an official close to the negotiations.

“Very preliminary and nascent discussions have taken place between Dassault’s SVE and the chairman of Tata Motors Ratan Tata,” the official said.

Tata spokesman V. Krishna said his firm did “not wish to comment on this.”

That is a cool Idea, and not strange either, since the technology is sooo different, you do not really need to develope a steam cat then a EM cat. no point in it.

And why would i care if the Soviets bombed you or not, i was just pointing out the obvious, and if the Soviets had in all seriousness decided to bomb parts of Pakistan (i.e. a soviet onslaught) their is nothing that would have stoped them from doing so.
