Well I think once Pakistan has spent some time using their F-22P Zulfiquar class frigate we shall get a better idea about where Chinese quality control is.
Its certainly been known that the feedback from earlier exported vessels led to a bit of a stink within their domestic shipbuilding industry.
It’s more an issue on design and experience in design.
If some or one of the other competitors mentions corruption then that will be the end or the super long continuation of the mmrca

It looks like when one problem is sorted out another pops up? It looks like someone failed to take proper verification of the design before clearing the project? I don’t know what else can be attributed to such design failure of the rotors and the ribs.
Lots of things really, quality control, quality management, poor operator training, lack of understanding of manufacturing features effects on stress.
