I’m quite happy working in the industry and not being a pilot. I don’t think I’ve ever wanted to be an airline pilot myself, but I can see the reasons why people would.

I think IF BA got the A380, it would be better placed on their NYC routes from LON to start with. That’s where the big bucks would come from to help pay for them!!

From what I can tell on their website, the inbound sectors to CVT were f.o.c. until this Friday – a cunning plan to generate business for otherwise dead sectors. Well done them, I hope to fly with them soon somewhere.

I wouldn’t give the fecking idiots a second chance – off with the Police they would go. How can these jokers find this kind of stunt funny? I think a prison sentence instantly for anyone suggesting such a thing would be a bloody good start to stopping this “joke” from happening. No airline is going to laugh it off, especially these days. Not only should these people not be allowed to fly, but they shouldn’t be allowed out of the hospital that they should be kept in!

I first flew in 1988 on an Air 2000 B757. This trip had me hooked on air travel (and it has only grown stonger since then!!) but not really on the planes themselves. That came a little later. I worked for a Business Travel Agency and I started to know my way around the UK domestic timetables. Then I worked for a little airline at Dundee Airport and got travelling more and the interest in the aircraft side of aviation just naturally evolved from travelling by air. Now, two airline employers later, I don’t ever see me not being interested in the whole industry – even should I ever end up not working in it.

Yes it is – BOO!!!

Nothing too grand about the livery, but I don’t think any livery can make a SH6 look good. The ATP looks better in the livery.
