I rather like that, Sandy. Well done!

Missing out on Rome is no biggee – we’ll probably do it late in the year and I have already been a couple of times. I’m sure we would have found it difficult to have a decent lads weekend away under such circumstances and it’s probably for the best that we stayed at home this weekend. The ache was Ryanair’s heel-dragging. It cost us to lose a hell of a lot of money collectively. Ah well, never mind. I should now better by now. I can only hope that their apathy towards their customers is the cause of their eventual downfall. They are just not worth the risk. Come on easyJet, get that network growing even more from LTN.

Fantastic photos and a fantastic report. I cannot wait for my trip to the States in two weeks with AA. We’re having 3 days in NYC, 8 days touring Florida (flying into MIA) and then the last 3 days in BOS. Good to hear that American looked after you guys so well when things went wrong. Nice to hear that there are airlines out there who still understand the term “customer service”
I was meant to have gone to Rome today for a 4 day lads weekend trip – but it got cancelled as the alternative offered by the airline (well, I say airline – it was Ryanair!) was unacceptable – I can’t blame Ryanair for this one obviously, but I’ve got to say that they dragged out the decision to advise of the cancellation to the very last minute possible and by the time they eventually got around to telling us that the flight was cancelled (24 hours after easyJet advised their passengers), the hotel money was lost! £2.5k for the hotel for our group simply washed down the drain!! 😡

Excellent news for BRS, and a good set of routes.
I have read that BFS-INV has done absolutely outstanding, and could easily support a second daily service.
Probably due to the fact that Inverness is nothing short of a stunning little city with the most beautiful surrounding area in Britain, in my opinion.

Monarch have been operating 11 individual dates in March on the A320 and 2 individual dates on the A321 (today and tomorrow -additional to the A320) for Ryanair, as Ryanair have a crew shortage.
These are ad-hoc flights for Monarch. Ryanair aren’t leasing our aircraft.

I don’t like that very much. Looks half-arsed to me. I love the 757 – maybe I love it too much as is?

I prefer the Monarch titles with the flymonarch stuff at the back end of the fuselage.
