It ain’t no Tornado though, is it.
wow did not know typhon could not do bombs
Which parts of this thread have you read?…
that’s not a question, that’s your own assumption. You don’t know that Poland is willing to spend extra money to add a2g capabilities on early typhoons when used f-16s and their existing f-16s can already do that.
What makes you think Poland will spend extra money?… Clearly you’re not grasping something.
stop being over-sensitive towards your favorite aircraft and just be comfortable with the fact that Tranche 1s have very limited a2g and will remain so with out significant upgrades whose costs is most likely to be born by the customer.
Not being over-sensitive at all. Besides, you’re obviously not aware of the Drop upgrades (there’s at least five of these), nor the Evolution Package 1 upgrades, or the CORP upgrades or even the R2Q & R2P upgrades. All funded by the Consortium members – see above.
And my favourite aircraft isn’t the Typhoon. I’m surprised you’re missing the clue… Then again, I’m not really.
My fellow work colleague set it all up for me with some clever switching for stereo and mono and with some extra bits added to make it all make sense. Quite unorthodox than some systems but it works and sounds wonderful. Some Marshall Combo Amps, as well as other makes too such as Line 6 and Fender, have input & output jacks so you’re able to wire them up to CD, DVD, Blu-Ray players and even your home LP stack and such.
Where’d that post go?… Ah well. 🙂

Last night, my Girlfriend wanted us to watch a bit of it and the voting results just for a laugh on iPlayer, rather hesitant I agreed. It’s just… bad. We watched about 10 minutes of the voting and it was the same as usual, neighbors that used to pillage each other voting for one another. I understand that the only way you could vote is by calling in?… just another way of getting more money out of you.
A very sad “show”. It’s time it got axed, in the UK at least.

Favourite programmes : HIGNFY, QI…
They’re currently filming the new series, ‘K’. Very much looking forward to it.
Does anyone have a Vinyl Record Player? We’ve got one and I’m quite surprised how many people don’t. Got it wired up to a Marshall Cab with 4x 12″ Celestion speakers. They still sound way better than CDs, digi Walkman, iPods & what have you. Just like music should, Mono.

One 32″ in the living room and an 18″ in the bedroom. Apart from the Formula 1, MotoGP and the BTCC my Girlfriend and myself watch, which is usually on quite often & goes without saying anyway, there’s only the likes of QI, Have I Got New For You, Top Gear, James May’s mix of programs he does every now and then, some documentaries be it science, aviation, wildlife and such… some Drama, we’ve been watching The Fall starring Gillian Anderson which is pretty good… other than those there’s not much else we’d really go out our way to watch. Although we check the likes of BBC iPlayer for things. DVDs are usually the choice or something online…
…if not, out with the Guitar and Drums… or, or…. or something else… 😀

What A2G munitions are the Tranche 1 Typhoons cleared with?
Enhanced Paveway II up to now and in Spain’s case the 2,000lb GBU-24 which have been dropped on a regular basis. There’ll most certainly be more weapons introduced long before 2017. However, there’s more to A/G capabilities than just munitions.
Gun strafing i’m afraid, i think even the last tranche can only drop LGB, i may be out of sync tho, havnt kept up.
In addition to the above. Tranche 2 units were not originally planned to drop the 1,000lb Enhanced Paveway II, it was only slated for Tranche 1 units. The decision was made a very short while ago that Tranche 2 units will now drop this weapon and drops were performed a few weeks ago in the UK. Enhanced Paveway IV will be integrated to Tranche 2 aircraft under P1E but isn’t slated for Tranche 1 units, which means it probably will be since upgrades and enhancements are currently being introduced for a common fleet. Storm Shadow is right after Paveway IV which itself is pretty much done.
Good idea.
I know it’s a bit showy and probably not practical, but the load below just looks great I think.
Not showy at all. The image with 12 Brimstones, 4 ALARMs and 2 1,500 litre drop tanks is perfectly doable. If you have, say for example, four Tornado GR4s with that same load each and four Typhoons with their current swing-role load, one will have one hell of a strike force!
There’s also on image the same as your first one albeit with two 2,200 litre drop tanks:

With Storm Shadow:

Yeah, that’s the one. My bad! I really enjoyed watching him play.
