Takamine have always been sweet Guitars, and very well priced too. They can give Taylor a run for their money, even with some of the top end models too, certainly a respectable run. They’re pretty good sellers amongst the Acoustic followers.

Yamaha are hit & miss. They can be very nice but I sometimes feel like they lack something, presence, feel or something…

I’ve got a Gibson Les Paul Custom ‘Black Beauty’. Cream trim, Gold Hardware… totally stunning. Drop A tuning, evil sounds to go with it’s looks. Great!

The Su-27 to -35 family is not exactly beautiful, but totally badass.

I prefer the latest SU-35 to the T-50. I quite liked the T-50 at first but it lacks that ‘something’ previous Soviet/Russian fighters have.

The Typhoon is muscular, like an Aston…

The Typhoon looks menacing from a lot of angles, an Aston looks like that from every angle and is seriously stunning too, DB9, DBS & Vanquish. Prefer the looks of the Tornado F3 to the Typhoon’s a lot.

The F-35 from most angles looks like Rosie O’Donnell in yoga pants. You may disagree if you wish, but you will still be wrong.

The F-35 reminds me of Mike Tyson… i.e. overrated.

I have another question.
Do the pilots of the T1 B5 wear the BAE guardian HMD helmet and if so, do the Spanish pilots use it as part of their flight gear.

The HMD helmet, or HEA as it’s known as, was under evaluation by Spain a little while ago and IIRC was in the process of integration soon after that. Today, I would believe it is in frontline operational service with the Spanish Air Force albeit not with every single pilot/aircraft. It is also worth pointing out the ‘Drop’ upgardes/enhancements too which are mean’t for all Tranche 1 units across the four consortium members. These are in five phases, Drop 1, Drop 2, Drop 3 etc and feature enhancements in DASS, avionics and weapons systems etc.

Additionally to the Drops, there is the Captor radar upgrade known as R2Q and R2P for Tranche 1s. The RAF and the Luftwaffe have bought into these enhancements though I don’t recall Spain have done. There might be a possibility that they have or will do.

Which variant of the Tornado are we on about? GR4 from the RAF, or the IDS’ of the RSAF, Luftwaffe or Italian Air Forces?

Well, the Tornado’s will be in need of replaced after 2020. Even if they don’t order F-35’s to replace the former. I wish the RAF would hand over the F-35B’s to the Royal Navy. Maybe a replacement of the Tornado’s would be just the carrot???

It depends on what capabilities the RAF Typhoons will get. They’re committed to integrating the likes of Storm Shadow, Paveway IV and Captor-E, and Enhanced Paveway II for Tranche 2s and 3s which were formerly only mean’t for Tranche 1s. Though oddly enough not Paveway III for neither Tranche and I understand that Brimstone will not be integrated also (SPEAR II instead), these are two weapons that are currently integrated onto the GR4s and with the uncertain ISDs for the F-35, it would indicate the RAF might want to keep the Tonkas in service for a little bit longer. They also have an amazing recce capability with the RAPTOR pod too.

I’d rather neither of them get the F-35B. Besides, the RAF want two fast jets.
