Could this drone be Israeli?
It would explain it not looking exactly like what I’ve seen pictured as a RQ-170, and I would think, the US would be willing to take the heat for the operation, rather then stirring up an Iran-Israel, hornets nest.
I would think a glider ride would be a good bang for the buck.

The Jackson-Cornell is sort of in process.
There are some engineering stumbling blocks to overcome, like fitting the accessory case they want to use, within the engine mount, and having some place for the nose wheel to go….:rolleyes:
