    Could this drone be Israeli?
It would explain it not looking exactly like what I’ve seen pictured as a RQ-170, and I would think, the US would be willing to take the heat for the operation, rather then stirring up an Iran-Israel, hornets nest.

I would think a glider ride would be a good bang for the buck.
Pleasant learning environment, and something different if you’ve had some powered experience.

Plenty, unfortunately (from radio news reports):

Many of the wrecked cars still contain their deceased occupants.

One man was rescued from a floating rooftop 10 miles at sea.

About 8 miles offshore, a USN aircraft spotted a debris field of buildings, barges, cars, etc., one mile across and 60 miles long.

OH! The Shinmoedake volcano on Japan’s Kyushu island
erupted again after laying quite for a while.
    Geez!!

The Jackson-Cornell is sort of in process.
There are some engineering stumbling blocks to overcome, like fitting the accessory case they want to use, within the engine mount, and having some place for the nose wheel to go….

I’ve got an old article I can’t post, but I can e-mail it to you if you PM me your address.

and a model that was at Reno Races a few years back:
