Chris,
I know someone said it before… But WOW! Great modelling.
Steve 😀 😀
O.K I will admit it……………………… Just which carrier is it?
😀 😀
Well I for one would rather see it FLYING! I don`t object to it being displayed Tail Up as it adds a bit of variety to the static displays.
Steve 😀 😀
An excellent link. You have to admire their attention to detail!
Even `Christening` the tail wheel before the mission.
Steve:D 😀
Excellent,
Thanks for posting the photo`s. It is always good to see a real craftsman at work.
Steve 😀 😀
Maybe this old `Gull winged ` bird is trying to tell us something!
Perhaps she does not want to fly?
Steve:( 🙁 🙁
Santa,
I`d like a Spitfire, a Hurricane, a Mustang, a Lancaster, a B17………………………………………………………………………………
Please.
Steve
😀 😀 😀
Dan,
Have a look at:

Hopefully you will find the information that you want.
Steve:D 😀
My first airshow. Now let me see………………… Ah yes that would have been Biggin Hill, about 1969 or 1970 with my parents and younger sister.
The first of many!
Steve:D 😀
Bloody hot!!!
Especially for the RAF reenactors in their roll neck jumpers, Fur lined flying boots and Irvin sheepskin flying jackets!
I know because along with a couple of friends I was wearing full AAF (American Army Air force) uniform: Crush cap, A2 leather flying jacket, shirt, tie etc!
Steve:D
I would like pass on my condolences to the Family, friends and Colleagues of the crew of the Firefly.
Steve
I will be there on Sunday, I will be one of the ones wearing AAF Uniform Leather Jacket, Crush Cap etc as I think it adds to the atmospere!
I will be there from 8am ish, later in the Flypast enclosure!
Steve
🙂 😀
Well, as someone who goes to Duxford for the `Airshow` I want AVIATION related stalls selling Clothing (Eastman Leather Clothing), Kits (Hannants), patches (Stewart Aviation) and as many others as can be cramed in.
I do not want bric-a-brac, country clothing etc. If I did I would go to a Horse Show or a Car Boot Sale (I have not seen any one who has bought a boot from one of these sales)!
However, if these bric-a-brac stalls can be added in without the loss of the aviation related ones then that`s fine with me.
Well, that`s my Two Pence worth!
Steve
😀
I had a look at the web site, those Balsa wood kits look superb!
I just wish / hope that one day I have the ability and knowledge to make something like that.
I do not know how to send pictures BUT I am looking forward to seeing them.
Steve 😀
For me, the best parts of the Duxford Airshow were the displays by the Hawk and the Superb Tailchase by the Spitfire the Mustang and the Corsair!
Snapper, I am sorry that I missed the meet up o/s the Flypast marquee! But I was in deep conversation with some friends on the Eastman Leather Clothing stand.
I even had my Scotch egg ready!
Steve:)
