Very sad news – Ray was always prepared to help, even the more obscure elements of RAF history, and encourage; will be saddly missed. Deepest condolences to the family.

    Kind regards,

    Tim

    XH668,

Just want to wish you all the very best with the RAF Weston Zoyland project. I have written a potted history of No.587 AAC Squadron (although not fully complete) which you may be interested in if so please get in touch.

    Once again all the best.

    Thanks Alex,

Gladiator N.2308 JQ-M taken at RAF Roborough Feb / March 1942 whilst operating with ‘C’ Flight. Nice photo taken by Ray ‘Tiny’ Herman of ‘C’ Flight and the next in the series shows same aircraft with ground crew.

But no-one has seen any further Gosport photos????

    Regards,

    Tim

    Hi ZRX61,

H.M.S. Cambridge / Wembury Range, sadly no longer with us (shore establishment), a good find. I have a map from a No.691 AAC Squadron pilot showing the courses for the various co-operation requirements for Wembury and Breakwater Fort I must try and dig that one out.

    Regards,

    Tim

    Hi Pagen01,

Thanks for the welcome; I’am sure I have something on ‘D’ Flight, ‘G’ Flight and ‘O’ Flight of No.1 A.A.C.U. is there something specific you are after?

    Regards,

    Tim

    Hi Andrew,

How, where and when and what will it take to liberate from your F.A.A. clutches?

    Regards,

    Tim
