It first appears in the 72 Squadron ORB on that date.
I don’t think it arrived at 72 Squadron before the 23/9 (not 23/7).

A.H. Davidson is listed in both 531 & 610 Squadron ORB’s with service number 126592, but this doesn’t come up with anything in London Gazette.
