    getting a new tower is the way i am going to go, a mate at work builds them and configures them to the individuals needs, about £250 is his starting price so i’ll be getting him to build one for me, won’t be or a while yet though because i have quite a few overheads at the moment and i won’t be getting a basic one.

    Hi Bluerobin, i’m stuck with 2000 cos thats about the limit or this piece of crud computer, have a copy of 2004 at a mates house ready for when i upgrade,
    the other problem is all the extra aircraft that i have got on this pc for fs2000, they probably won’t be any good for 2004 :confused:

    Hmmmm all his cubbery has gotten me hankering to have a flight in one, trouble is i am stuck to flying a desk with flight sim 2000 at the moment 🙁 . still, off to simviation to see if they have one for download.

    congrats on soloing the cub Steve, given the choice between the cub, Jodel and Chippie it’ll be a pain to decide, although the only flying i have one in any of these types are four flights in RAF Chipmunks so i think that is the type i would go for, as one of the pilots who flew the chippies told me “its the nearest you can get to a Spitfire as far as handling is concerned”.

    Hi Steve, i’m sure they will improve,thanks. its just that several grands worth of job has gone f.u.b.a.r. and it’ll take at least four days to put it right.

    thanks for the id on the nords Ewen. the two havards / texans i saw both had japanese marks, one white and one camo. there wasindeed a load of debris there, including what looked like a gondola from an airship. i’ll have a look or the pics i did manage to take an see if i can get a mate to put them on disc for me so i can post them here.
